For over 40 years, Ocean Air Heat & A/C has proudly served the families and businesses of New Smyrna Beach and the surrounding communities with honest, dependable heating and cooling service. Founded in 1983 by Barbara and Barney Cole alongside Barbara’s son, Rick Barr, Ocean Air was built on one simple idea: treat every customer like family.
What started as a small hometown company quickly became a trusted name throughout the area thanks to hard work, quality craftsmanship, and genuine care for the community. For more than 30 years, Rick helped grow and shape Ocean Air into the respected company customers know today.
In 2018, ownership was proudly passed to Rick’s nephew, John Kormash, continuing the family tradition and commitment to personalized service. While the industry continues to evolve, our mission remains the same — provide reliable comfort solutions with honesty, fairness, and exceptional customer care.
